Maurice F. Strong (born April 29, 1929) is a Canadian businessman known for his rise to wealth and power with positions in Dome Petroleum, Power Corporation, Petro-Canada and Ontario Hydro. While he was well connected to Canadian politic he prefered to influence Canadian and international politics from the boardroom. Maurice Strong was instrumental in establishing the UN Conference on Environment and Development, the Earth Summit, the Kyoto Accord, and The Earth Charter.
Is (was) Maurice Strong a genuine socialist and environmentalist or was he the centre of a world government conspiracy plot under the auspicies of the UN and the World Bank to save humanity from self anihilation? Judge for yourself.
