Over the Edge

2008 Sep 20

The world has gone crazy!
We are finally witnessing it.
America is not on the brink. It has gone over the edge.

In attemping to prevent a total collapse of the whole financial system, the U.S. Treasury and the Federal Reserve Board is letting off the hook all the corporations and their CEOs who created this crisis in the first place. These are the folks who rewarded themselves handsomely even while the ship was going down.

By bailing out all these bankrupt financial institutions with public money the U.S. government is digging a deeper hole into which to fall.

Every time money is created somebody in the future has to labour to repay that money. Who is going to pay for all of this? Poor tax payers and their children and grandchildren.

Blessed are the young, for they shall inherit the National Debt - Herbert Hoover (1874-1964), U.S. President.

This is using socialism to prop up capitalism.
This is using the poor masses to benefit the rich.
This is modern day slavery.
